Mother's Day Out
St. Peter’s Mother’s Day Out is a ministry that reaches out to stay at home parents, parents who
work from home, and parents that work part time in our community. Children who are 18-23 months at the start of the year can attend MDO.
MDO is open on Wednesdays from 9:30 -1:00 September 4, 2019-June 10, 2020.
The children participate in free play, stories, crafts, and songs. We will provide a morning snack, and your child will bring a lunch from home. Please be sure that you include a cold pack, and/or a thermos, as we do not have refrigerators or microwaves in the classrooms.
MDO allows a free day for parents to do errands or accomplish tasks without their
children. The children also have a great time playing with kids their own age and enjoying the
activities. The schedule may be adapted to include naptime for those who need it. MDO is taught by a licensed infant and toddler educator.
We follow the Montgomery County Public School calendar for holidays and inclement weather, but reserve the right to make decisions based on the immediate area. We are closed if MCPS is closed. If MCPS calls a two hour delay we will open at 11:00. If MCPS announces an early dismissal due to weather, we close at 12:00 PM.
Registration is open to the public. You can register at any time during the school year as long as there is a space available in your child’s age group. Payments can be make monthly or quarterly. To register, please contact Mother’s Day Out at email@example.com. Visits may be set up to observe the classroom activities. Tuition is $140 per month. Payable to Saint Peter's Episcopal Church adressed to St. Peter’s MDO P.O. Box 387 Poolesville, MD 20837.
